【背景知识】
高水平的氧化应激对许多疾病的发病机制产生影响。血液透析患者在每次透析期间都会大量形成活性氧 (ROS)。蛋白质对氧化应激特别敏感，可导致形成 AOPP（高级氧化蛋白质产物）或 AGE（高级糖基化终产物，具有不可逆化学变化的非酶糖基化蛋白质）。AOPP 被认为是ROs 对蛋白质的破坏，特别是在尿毒症患者中。确定 AOPP 还可以监测治疗干预措施以减少氧化应激的效果。
